Lake Bunyonyi – “Place of many little birds”

It is found in the south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale and it is close to the border with Rwanda. It’s believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa with about 900 m(3,000 ft) deep.                                                     

The Lake is neighbor by towns of Kyevu and Muko on it’s shores, and as well it also has Islands some of which are Punishment Island and Bushara Island.
